North Dakota’s Michael Whisler, is one
of the most talented and creative acoustic guitarists in America today. A
true virtuoso, his amazing command of the instrument makes each performance
a spell-binding and memorable event. He has been called, “a
guitar player’s guitar player.”
A talented songwriter, Whisler’s
compositions for both 6 and 12 string guitars are remarkable for their
dynamic power and speed and reveal influences from American folk, blues and
classical music. His tunes range from ripping, fast-paced instrumentals to
slower, more emotional ballads - - all supported by his rich baritone
vocals.
The Old Lynn Concerts are presented in the
old Methodist Church in Lynn, PA. It is located a half mile west
of PA Rte. 29 in the village of Lynn. Admission to the concerts is
FREE.
Doors open to the public at 6:30 PM
Show Time is 7:00 PM sharp.
