the hypocrites and scoundrels
who preach war and love

What are you gonna do
when judgment day flies by
and a whole lotta nothing
comes down from the sky
and the hindu and the muslim
and the christian and the jew
scratch their heads together
and blame it all on you

tell me What happens if
they stick you in the ground
and you just lay rotting
like a stray dog at the pound
so you just lay there wondering
why God was always broke
and now after all these years
you finally get the joke

Well the rapture was a bust
now who do we trust
no class distinctions no more
laid out on the cooling board
What if it's all a lie
and the sky is only sky
and hell is what we do
and what we put others through

Boys what a helluva ride
but there will be no reward
for slaughtering each other
in the name of different Lord's
I guess it wouldn't matter
if we hit our knees to pray
and the deity went awol
and avoided the fray
