Truth or Dare
(a republican lullaby used to solicit sex during a time of war)

Ok...this one is a bit odd even for me

Truth or dare baby
truth or dare
fight for me here
or for me over there
got a promise
on my tongue
a winning smile
for everyone

tell me just what do you
have to lose
take a chance
while there's still one to choose
stay with him
or come with me
walk with a cane
or learn to see

I found the way
it's right through here
cross right now
while the coast is clear
don't mind the bodies
laying there
they hesitated...
too long to care

hold on tight and come for a ride
I'll take you to the tracks laid on the other side
where the Lord works Sunday if I ask him to
and the Devil wears Prada...if it's red, white, or blue

Arms to hold
and to push away
and words that mean
anything I say
if doubts come creeping
to you in dreams
recall that all is not
what it seems

truth or dare baby
dare or truth
turn on me
I'll call a sleuth
to track you down
to where you lay
and erase the things
that led you astray

Who's fooling who when the time comes to decide
and the spin's been spun and everybody lied
I want a taste of honey and the thorns among the rose
to make myself a crown when you decide to go

truth or dare baby
truth or dare
fight for me here
or for me over there
